Purposes and legal basis of data processing
You receive the invitation to the MELVI – Meeting of the European Leisure Vehicle Industry based on your membership in the ECF. Here, we invoke Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party).
Your registration for the event takes place via a separate link on the MELVI website. This registration is linked to the database of the Caravaning Industrie Verband e. V.(CVID)-and your data will be stored here. The legal basis for the registration is also Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO. For the storage in the CVID database, we refer to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO (processing takes place based on legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest here lies in the simple registration and administration of addresses for the event and the support of the organisation by the CVID.
Photos/videos are taken at the event for the purposes of event documentation and for use on our website/social media pages and in print media. The legal basis here is the legitimate interest according to Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest here is in external presentation. In individual cases, we will also obtain consent for photos in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1 lit a) DSGVO.
Access to your data is defined according to a rights and roles concept and only permitted to the group of persons necessary for the respective purpose.
Duration of storage, or criteria for determining the duration
We only retain the data you provide to us for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided for by law.
If the respective purpose ceases to apply or after expiry of the corresponding periods, your data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Transfer of your data to third parties
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent.

Data transfer to a third country or an international organisation
Third countries are countries in which the DSGVO is not directly applicable law. This basically includes all countries outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
There is no data transfer to a third country or an international organisation without a legal basis.
Revocation
If processing takes place based on consent, you have the option of revoking the use of your data for internal purposes at any time with effect for the future. To do so, it is sufficient to send a corresponding e-mail to info@e-c-f.com. Of course, you also have the option of sending your revocation in writing by post to the above address of the Secretariat or contacting us in this regard by telephone on +49 69 704039-0.
Reference to the respective data subject rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you. You can also request the correction of incorrect data. In addition, under certain conditions, you have the right to have data deleted, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data portability.
Reference to the right of complaint to the supervisory authority
You have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.
